Bharti Singh was born in 3 July 1984, is an Indian comedian, and television personality. Singh has created numerous comedy sketch shows as well as has hosted various award shows. She participated in the reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2012), Nach Baliye 8 (2017) and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 (2019). As of December 2019, she appeared on Khatra Khatra Khatra, a show conceptualised by her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa for Colors TV. Since 2016, Singh has appeared in Forbes India’s celebrity 100 list.
Both of Singh’s parents are from Punjab, with her father having ancestry from Nepal. Her father died when she was two years old. Singh has two older siblings, a brother and a sister.
Bharti was the second runner-up of stand-up comedy reality series The Great Indian Laughter Challenge (Season 4) on STAR One, where she received acclaim for her stand-up comedy child character named Lalli. She appeared as a participant along with Sharad Kelkar and Paresh Ganatra in Comedy Circus 3 Ka Tadka and Comedy Circus Mahasangram with her team from Comedy Circus 3 Ka Tadka, Comedy Circus Ke Superstars with Paresh Ganatra, Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo. And in 2011, she appeared in Jubilee Comedy Circus, Comedy Circus Ke Taansen and Comedy Circus Ka Naya Daur on Sony Entertainment Television. She hosted the show Comedy Nights Bachao along with Krishna Abhishek.
